The IDF struck a military post belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip

<p>Magen David Adom medics and paramedics were called to treat 3,025 people across the country during the Yom Kippur Fast on Monday. 2,069 people required further treatment at a hospital, of whom 295 either fainted, became dehydrated, or otherwise felt ill due to the fast.</p>

<p>34 people were injured in road accidents across the country over Yom Kippur, including a 40-year-old bicyclist (a foreign national from China) who was moderately injured when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 444. The other 33 were lightly injured.</p>

Protesters confronted worshipers who tried to pray with the traditional partition between men and women on Yom Kippur.

Numerous government figures spoke out about the riot that developed around a public Tel Aviv prayer service.

In addition to the prayers in Dizengoff Square, the protesters also sought to disturb another prayer service at Habima Square in Tel Aviv.
