A 74-year-old man and his 17-year-old granddaughter were moderately injured and evacuated to a hospital after a light aircraft crashed in northern Israel.

Over 100 people were killed Friday night in an explosion in Nigeria, a local government official said Saturday.According to the state commissioner for petroleum resources, Goodluck Opiah, "The fire outbreak occurred at an illegal bunkering site and it affected over 100 people who were burnt beyond recognition."

MK Yaakov Litzman (UTJ) was brought to Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center during the holiday after not feeling well. After a series of tests, MK Litzman underwent a pacemaker transplant by Prof. Michael Glickson, director of the hospital's heart surgery center. The hospital said that the pacemaker surgery was successful and MK Litzman is recovering and feeling well.
